1. Safe and Suitable Work Area
Glaze Auto Detailing will only perform services in an environment that is safe for our team, customers, equipment, and vehicles.
We will not begin work when a vehicle is located:
- on a main or heavily traveled road;
- in a location with unsafe traffic conditions;
- in an area that is too narrow or restricted for us to work safely; or
- in any other location we reasonably determine is unsafe or unsuitable for mobile detailing.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is positioned in a safe and accessible work area before the appointment begins.
When necessary, we may ask the customer to move the vehicle to another suitable location.
2. Electricity and Water Access
Depending on the service booked, Glaze Auto Detailing may require access to a standard electrical outlet for professional detailing equipment.
We may also require access to water.
Glaze Auto Detailing has an onboard water supply that may be available for appointments where water access is limited, including certain business or commercial locations. Please let us know before your appointment if access to water or electricity may not be available.
Service limitations or additional charges may apply depending on the appointment location, service requirements, or travel involved. Any applicable changes will be discussed with the customer before work begins.
3. Location and Access Concerns
Please contact Glaze Auto Detailing before your appointment if:
- your vehicle is parked on or near a heavily traveled road;
- parking or working space is limited;
- your property has access restrictions;
- water or electricity may not be available; or
- you believe the location may not be suitable for mobile detailing.
We will work with you to determine whether the service can be completed at your location or whether another suitable location should be arranged.
Additional travel or service charges may apply depending on the alternate location or service requested. Any additional charges will be communicated before work begins.
4. Booking Deposit
A booking deposit is required to secure and confirm an appointment with Glaze Auto Detailing.
Based on the total price of the services booked, the required appointment deposit will be $25, $50, or $100. The applicable deposit amount will be shown during the booking process before payment is made.
The booking deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the scheduled services. An appointment is not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you.
The remaining balance is due after completion of the service in accordance with the payment terms below.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in the appointment deposit becoming:
- non-refundable; and
- non-transferable to another appointment.
We understand that unexpected situations can occur. Customers should contact Glaze Auto Detailing as soon as possible when an appointment needs to be changed.
Appointments affected by weather, safety concerns, access limitations, or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of Glaze Auto Detailing will be handled based on the specific circumstances.
6. Delays, Emergencies, and Glaze-Initiated Rescheduling
Traffic delays, severe weather, equipment issues, emergencies, or other unexpected circumstances may occasionally require Glaze Auto Detailing to delay, cancel, or reschedule an appointment.
When this occurs, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible.
If Glaze Auto Detailing must cancel an appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to offer a new appointment within 14 days of the original appointment date.
If we are unable to reschedule the appointment within that period, the customer may receive a full refund of the deposit paid for the affected appointment.
7. Vehicle Battery Condition
Some detailing services require vehicle doors, trunks, hatches, or other areas to remain open for extended periods.
Depending on the vehicle, interior lights or other electrical systems may remain active during this time.
Glaze Auto Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing battery weakness, battery failure, electrical faults, or other vehicle conditions unrelated to our work.
We will take reasonable care while performing the service, but customers should inform us of any known battery or electrical concerns before work begins.
8. Vehicle Condition and Additional Charges
The customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the condition of the vehicle before the appointment.
Additional labor or charges may apply when a vehicle has conditions requiring substantially more time or specialized attention, including:
- excessive pet hair;
- heavy mud or sand;
- excessive dirt or debris;
- paint or other difficult substances;
- mold or suspected biological contamination; or
- other conditions not reasonably disclosed before the appointment.
Customers should notify Glaze Auto Detailing of these conditions before booking or before the appointment. We may request photographs to help evaluate the vehicle and recommend the appropriate service.
Any additional charge or change in service will be discussed with the customer before additional work is performed.
9. Maintenance Plan Appointments
Maintenance detailing is intended to help preserve the condition of a vehicle after it has received the appropriate initial detailing service.
Maintenance clients are expected to schedule service every two to four weeks, based on the selected maintenance schedule.
When a vehicle goes beyond the maintenance interval or its condition has significantly changed, the vehicle may no longer qualify for maintenance-level service.
In that situation, Glazed Detail or another appropriate service may be required before the vehicle can return to the maintenance program.
The purpose of maintenance detailing is to keep the vehicle consistently maintained rather than repeatedly restore it from a heavily soiled condition.
10. Invoices and Payment
An invoice will be sent using the billing and contact information provided by the customer during booking.
After the service is completed, Glaze Auto Detailing will confirm the remaining balance due.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance must be paid within two hours after the final invoice is sent.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information.
11. Late Payments
A $50 late fee may be applied to payments that remain unpaid beyond the payment deadline stated above.
12. Unpaid Balances
Customers are responsible for paying all authorized charges for services completed by Glaze Auto Detailing.
Glaze Auto Detailing reserves the right to pursue lawful collection remedies for unpaid balances.
13. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions must be acknowledged before an appointment is confirmed.
By booking an appointment, paying a required deposit, or authorizing Glaze Auto Detailing to begin work, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
An appointment affected by a customer's failure to comply with these terms may be:
- delayed;
- rescheduled;
- cancelled; or
- subject to applicable booking, travel, or service charges.
Any applicable charge will depend on the circumstances and the services authorized.
14. Questions About These Terms
Questions about these Terms and Conditions should be submitted to Glaze Auto Detailing before booking or before the scheduled appointment.
